The G 600 Prep and Much More
PANEL DETAILS (CLICK PICTURE FOR LARGER IMAGE)

Phil looked through out paint chips and decided on a Grey wrinkle color for the upper panels that was darker than our normal shade. There wasn't any official name for the color, so it was dubbed "Klassen Grey" After the panels came back from powder coating we realized that the darker grey gave the panels a warmer higher quality look than does the lighter shade. The Circuit breaker switch panel (above left) was designed with plenty of expansion in mind. All of the old rocker switches were replaced with switch-breakers so to allow more room for other components and controls. The flap control (above center) was screen printed to an exact replacation of the original. The pilots flight instruments (above right) show how close we had to mount them to each other in order to get them all on the inset panel which will be removed for the installation of the G600 when its available.

The rest of the right-side panel pieces are shown (above left) with the custom glove box door and the installation of the Air Gizmo 496 mount and angled adapter. The adapter mount can be either mounted on the surface of the panel or recessed as shown. Mounting the assembly on the surface doesn't look good because too much of the mount protrudes outward. On the other hand, mounting it as shown allows for easy access behind the panel if needed by removing 4 mounting screws.
